Ford releases Ranger Black Edition

FOLLOWING THE SELL-OUT SUCCESS of the Ranger Black Edition in 2024, it comes as no surprise that Ford is bringing it back for an encore.

Ranger Black Edition will be available in limited numbers, offering exclusive design changes, and priced to deliver exceptional value, making it a compelling option for both retail and small business customers that want a dual cab with a bold, distinctive look and the capability to match.

Building on the popularity of the Ranger nameplate, this special edition pick-up combines rugged capability with an enhanced stylish aesthetic and is offered at $55,990 (plus on road costs).

Ford Australia is also pleased to offer competitive recommended driveaway pricing for the Black Edition when finished in the standard Arctic White paint:

  • Private buyers: $57,000 (incl. GST)
  • ABN Holders: $55,000 (incl. GST)

The Ranger Black Edition is based on the robust 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo XL double-cab pick-up 4×4, and boasts an array of exclusive, black-themed design enhancements and practical features. These include:

  • Carpeted floor with carpet floor mat for the driver
  • Black long-legged sports bar
  • Drop-in bedliner
  • Cargo Management System
  • Unique 17-inch asphalt black alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres
  • Black side steps
  • Unique Asphalt Black mesh grille with Bolder Grey inserts

Optional enhancements are also available, including a Towing Pack at a recommended $1950 (incl. GST) and Prestige Paint at $750 (incl. GST).

“The Ranger Black Edition is back by popular demand, offering a fantastic blend of style, capability, and value,” said Andrew Birkic, President and CEO, Ford Australia.

“We understand that our customers, whether for personal use or small business needs, are looking for a truck that not only performs but also stands out. The Ranger Black Edition delivers on all fronts, with its striking styling and practical features.”

The Ranger Black Edition is available for a limited time, with production scheduled from September 2025 to October 2025. First arrivals are expected in Australian dealerships from October 2025.
