PEUGEOT HAS LAUNCHED THE ALL-NEW (aren’t they all!) Peugeot 5008 seven-seat Hybrid SUV; combining European design excellence with innovative hybrid efficiency, all packaged in a sleek, spacious, and intelligent seven-seater SUV.
The 5008 Hybrid is engineered to offer impressive efficiency and dynamic performance without the need for external charging. Its self-charging hybrid powertrain combines a highly efficient 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a responsive 15.6kW electric motor,107kw combined power output, all integrated via a smooth six-speed dual-clutch transmission (e-DCS6). The result is a seamless (isn’t it always!) hybrid experience that offers the benefits of electrification, including lower fuel consumption and emissions – without the complexity of plug-in infrastructure.
Capable of achieving a combined fuel consumption of just 5.1L/100km and a remarkable highway driving range, the new 5008 Hybrid SUV redefines practicality and long-distance capability in the Large SUV segment.
