SET FOR A NATIONWIDE LAUNCH from July 17, 2025, the GLA 250 e with EQ hybrid technology offers a sustainable, refined and feature-rich option in the compact luxury SUV segment. With everyday practicality, electric range and seamless hybrid flexibility, it’s designed for drivers seeking the best of both worlds.
This new variant complements the existing GLA range and expands the brand’s electrified portfolio alongside recently introduced plug-in hybrid models like the C 350 e. Powered by a sophisticated hybrid drivetrain delivering up to 160kW and 450Nm of system output, the GLA 250 e provides all-electric commuting capabilities thanks to its 11.5kWh lithium-ion battery, while retaining the flexibility of a petrol engine for longer journeys.
Electric efficiency meets everyday versatility
With a WLTP-tested electric range of up to 65 km, the GLA 250 e enables everyday trips to be completed using purely electric power. When more range is required, the 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine with 120 kW output ensures seamless transitions and extended travel.
Drivers can also find hybrid-specific data displayed in the cockpit — the power display in the instrument cluster, for example, as well as on the energy flow display and consumption histogram on the central display.
Two charging cables are provided as standard, one for home use and another for wallboxes or public charging infrastructure. The standard 3.7kW AC charging system can be optionally upgraded to support up to 11kW for faster top-ups at compatible stations.

The GLA 250 e includes a wealth of features as standard, delivering both luxury and practicality, including:
