IN A MOVE THAT’S SURE to win approval from owners and intending buyers alike, GWM has announced an enhancement to the service schedule for the Cannon and Tank 300 2.4-litre turbo-diesel powertrains, extending service intervals to deliver greater convenience and value for our customers.
Effective for all 2025 GWM Cannon and Tank 300 2.4-litre turbo-diesel models, the revised service schedule introduces a first scheduled service at 10,000km or 12 months, with subsequent services at 15,000km or 12-month intervals. This adjustment aligns the diesel powertrain with market expectations while maintaining exceptional vehicle performance and reliability.
Additionally, this revision significantly extends coverage under GWM’s Capped Price Servicing (CPS) program. For the Cannon 2.4-litre diesel, CPS coverage has been extended from 45,000km to 70,000km, providing owners with enhanced value and greater peace of mind.

GWM advises that some owners of the 2025 GWM Cannon and Tank 300 2.4-litre diesel variants may receive a service reminder indicating a first scheduled service at 5000km, aligned with the original service book. To support the updated servicing requirements, GWM will retrospectively issue revised warranty/service booklets to affected customers. These updated booklets will accurately reflect the revised service schedule. Customers will be notified via email once the replacement books are available.
Backed by GWM’s Customer Care Warranty and Capped Price Servicing, the Tank 300 diesel includes a seven-year/unlimited km standard new car warranty, seven-year roadside assistance with 24/7 support, and seven-year Capped Price Servicing. The Cannon offers the same 7-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, with five years of roadside assistance with 24/7 support and Capped Price Servicing. All of this is backed by GWM’s comprehensive care program and a nationwide network of 113 dealerships.
