THE IONIQ RANGE IS EXPANDING all the time. The latest is the Ioniq 9, the flagship, full-size electric SUV that crowns the line-up.
Ioniq 9 embodies leading-edge EV technology, with a spacious and cosseting three-row cabin swathed in striking aerodynamic styling.
As a vehicle representing the pinnacle of EV technology – and of the multi-award-winning Ioniq range – Ioniq 9 is offered in a single fully featured Calligraphy grade.
The highly equipped flagship Ioniq 9 Calligraphy is offered with a choice of 6- or 7-seater configurations and delivers greater value than three-row EV SUV alternatives, and a more premium experience than an electric MPV.
Curved, integrated 12.3-inch instrument cluster and infotainment displays are stand-out features in a lounge-like interior that caters to each occupant’s needs, and features Nappa leather, premium relaxation front seats, and a power panorama sunroof.
Bluelink Connected Car Services and Over The Air update capability are included for IONIQ 9 along with the Australian debut of Digital Key 2 and Google Places Search.
The 314kW dual-motor all-wheel drive Ioniq 9 is powered by a 110.3 kWh high energy-density battery and brings a 600km WLTP range, with the capability for a fast-charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 24 minutes.
Six-seater variants usher in an innovative sliding Universal Island 2.0 Centre Console and a matching pair of Relaxation Seats for second-row passengers.
Ioniq 9 is exceptionally safe with the inclusion of 10 Airbags and a Hyundai SmartSense suite, with Forward Collision Avoidance 2, Lane Following Assist 2 and Smart Cruise Control 2 among an array of technologies.

HYUNDAI DIGITAL KEY 2.0
Ioniq 9 is the first Hyundai to feature Digital Key 2.0, a core feature as part of the innovative Bluelink Connected Car Services suite. Hyundai Digital Key 2.0 is a smartphone-based key that allows users to lock, unlock and start the vehicle.
Hyundai Digital Key 2 features both near-field communication (NFC) and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, which allows for automatic unlocking of the vehicle from approximately one metre away.
To activate and register Digital Key 2, users should link IONIQ 9 to an active Hyundai Bluelink account. When registered, Digital Key will appear in the user’s smartphone wallet.
A compatible smartphone that supports either UWB or NFC is required to enjoy the benefits of Hyundai Digital Key 2.
Proximity Control (UWB) – Smartphones with ultra-wideband function can control the vehicle without touch.
Touch Control (NFC) – Smartphones without UWB can use near-field communication by touching the smartphone to the door handle to unlock and on the NFC wireless reader to start the vehicle.

EXTERIOR
An ‘Aerosthetic’ was applied in the creation of Ioniq 9 – a design aesthetic that delivers an aerodynamic and appealing style while allowing for generous interior space across three rows.
Parametric Pixel design headlights and front grille herald Ioniq 9 as the new flagship of the advanced IONIQ electric vehicle series.
The wide pixel lighting creates a striking contrast with the sleek and aerodynamic form and, while a transparent surface applied over the intricate parametric pixel frontal graphics creates a refined and futuristic image.
A pixelated position lamp, turn signals and daytime running lights reinforce the ultramodern visage, while front sensors integrated in a central circuit board-inspired garnish complete a commanding front aesthetic.
In profile, Ioniq 9 is defined by its aero shape and a crisp character line running its length that reinforces the presence of a grand large SUV.
Ioniq 9’s side surfacing emphasises volume and a unique aesthetic, while boldly defined wheel arches bring visual stability.
Meanwhile, a bold D-pillar design with an alloy-effect finish adds a touch of sporty flair to the streamlined profile.
Ioniq 9’s dramatic silhouette is underpinned by dynamic 21-inch Calligraphy machined alloy wheels.
A boat-tail rear design maximises aerodynamic performance and space efficiency and is complemented by a wide shoulder line and parametric pixel taillights.
A black lower garnish flows seamlessly into the taillight bezels and is underscored by a rear diffuser to complete a clean and cohesive high-tech rear image.
Aerodynamics
Ioniq 9 achieves superb high-speed stability and excellent efficiency with an aerodynamically optimised body design.
The key design elements contributing to smooth airflow and low coefficient of drag are an elegantly curved roofline and corners, boat-tail profile, and an aero-wheel design.
In addition, underbody airflow is optimised through the application of 3D-shaped undercovers at the front and rear of the battery undercover.
An innovative dual-motion Active Air Flap minimises air flow leakage around the flap to further reduce resistance associated with the powertrain cooling system.
Colours
Ioniq 9 Calligraphy is available in 10 colours including three matte finishes, with a selection of interior colour and trim combinations.
INTERIOR
With a generous wheelbase and flat floor as basis, Ioniq 9’s Ultimate Lounge interior is designed to create a serene and sophisticated mood while embracing up to seven with a lounge-like ambience.
An elegant, curved display merging dual 12.3-inch instrument cluster and infotainment interfaces takes pride of place in a front row that combines refined simplicity with high-tech detailing, to provide a premium experience and an expansive sense of space.
A selection of colour schemes and a harmonious mix of textures create a sense of tranquillity and connection in Ioniq 9. These include an aluminium crash pad garnish, door panels finished in synthetic leather, and seats upholstered in supple Nappa leather.
These finishes are complemented by the application of ellipse-shaped elements to key areas around the cabin, which are designed to create a home-like visual stability for every occupant.

Ioniq 9 is powered by twin 157kW electric motors drawing from a 110.3kWh battery to deliver a driving range of 600km WLTP and prodigious performance, with 5.2-second 0-100km/h capability and 3.4sec 80-120km/h.
Built on the acclaimed Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), IONIQ 9 has the capability for a rapid charge from 10 to 80 percent in little as 24 minutes when plugged into a 350kW charger.
