FOLLOWING THE STRONG RECEPTION for the previously offered C 43 and GLC 43 Edition R models, Mercedes-Benz Australia now extends the performance-focused Edition R concept to the compact class for the first time. These models deliver distinctive styling and targeted equipment designed to highlight each vehicle’s dynamic character.
A refined expression of AMG’s performance spirit, the Edition R is now available on the AMG A 35 4MATIC Hatch and Sedan, and the CLA 35 4MATIC Coupé. In line with the Edition R’s performance orientation, the specification has been selectively streamlined to emphasise dynamic equipment and design elements.
The Edition R models feature a distinctive package that includes the AMG Aerodynamics Package, 19-inch black AMG alloy wheels, and red brake calipers, while the interior is appointed with ARTICO/MICROCUT upholstery with red contrast topstitching and AMG aluminium trim.
In this segment, the Edition R+ is offered exclusively on the AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ and CLA 45 S 4MATIC+, combining a streamlined specification with added performance features. Alongside Edition R equipment, it includes AMG Performance Seats and, for the first time on the CLA 45 S, an AMG fixed rear wing for a bold motorsport-inspired look.
