Another Peugeot SUV EV planned, the E-3008 coming to Australia

GLOBALLY, PEUGEOT HAS REVEALED an all-new electric fastback SUV: the Next-Level E-3008.

Peugeot has transformed the E-3008 (inexplicably and inconsistently, the E-3008 gets a capitalised “E”), taking to a whole new level the creativity of its design and the driving pleasure and electric performance it offers to its users:

  • a fastback SUV with a reinvented and efficient design.
  • produced by the next-gen Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit which takes driving pleasure to a whole new level.
  • 100 percent electric range and performance, thanks to the new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis.

To complete the line-up, the new 3008 will also be available with electrified (Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid) power units, according to market needs. More details of these will be published later.

Kate Gillis, Managing Director Peugeot Australia, said: “On the back of launching Peugeot’s first all-electric vehicles in the Australian market – the e-Partner Van and e-2008 SUV – we’re pleased to confirm the Next-Level E-3008, revealed globally today, will launch in Australia.”

“Combined with the local introduction of the E-208, e-Expert and 408 PHEV in 2024, there is no doubt that Peugeot’s future is electrifying.”

Peugeot Australia is working closely with Stellantis to review launch timings and specification for the Australian market. More information will be released in due course.
