Haval H2 improves the value-for-money equation

FOR A NEWCOMER, Haval is quickly gaining traction in the Australian market, appealing to value-for-money buyers (and is there any other kind?)

And as the company rightly says, it’s always nice to get more for the same price.

SUV specialist Haval (it rhymes with “gravel”) has upgraded its popular H2 small SUV by adding Apple CarPlay, redesigned front and rear facias as standard across the H2 range. Furthermore, on the new Lux edition owners will also benefit from LED headlamps and spectacular panoramic glass sunroof. The best news is that despite the updates, the MY20 H2 holds its price to $22,990 for the premium Auto and $25,990 for the top of the range LUX (both prices are driveaway).

The H2 appeals to budget small SUV buyers

The Haval H2 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 110kW/210Nm matched to a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic. In addition to the new features, Haval continues to offer a host of standard features on the H2 Premium including Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and start, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights and rear-view camera. The H2 LUX model adds heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, Comfort-Tec seating and LED headlights for better visibility in low light situations.

All Havals have a transferable seven-year 100,000km warranty and five-year national roadside assistance and are now available from all 32 Australian dealers.

“At Haval we understand the importance of offering our customers outstanding value and that’s exactly what we have done with the new HAVAL H2” said Mr. Bill Soo – National Marketing Manager of Haval Motors Australia.
